can’t walk can’t talk

Canon 50mm f1.2 lens

This was one of those moments in New York when you stop for a split second and appreciate what you’ve got. I came across this homeless Vet outside of Madison Square Garden last summer, saw his sign, and just felt that I needed to photograph him. It’s not easy to impress a New Yorker, but “can’t walk. can’t talk. please help.” stopped me in my tracks for a few minutes. Taken with a Canon 50mm f1.2 lens on a 5D Mark III.
